Windmill Cottage was a very pleasant cottage with plenty of character. It had comfortable seating in the lounge and the beds were very comfortable too. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for preparing food away from home. Sadly the weather was pretty awful during our stay but there was still plenty we found to do in Derbyshire. Although the cottage is next door to a pub there was not a problem with noise. We would happily stay in the house again.

Great cottage for a stay, close to Derby, pub and the village was nice to walk around. Rooms pretty spacious, clean and tidy. The views out the back were great, fields and cows. Parking was a little tricky for me, but that was the only negative, would definitely recommend.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views. Very tastefully restored and well equipped. Next to a pub and on a local bus route with some lovely local walks nearby

Very nice, clean cottage and conveniently located near Nottingham University. Everything was excellent. The only thing missing was a washing machine.
